Are you missing your BAS or IAS?

Author: Wendy Waack, Partner, TAG Financial Services

The ATO will no longer issue paper instalment notices for PAYG and GST quarterly instalments once an activity statement or instalment notice is lodged, revised, or varied electronically through any electronic transmissions of statements.

Please be aware that the ATO is changing the way they are dealing with outgoing mail and moving to more electronic means of delivery.

We encourage you to be more aware of your myGov account as ATO mail and other government organisations are using COVID changes to streamline their communication process and thus eliminate paper.

Just a reminder that the ATO payment date for the December BAS and IAS obligations is 28 February 2021.
